Intelligence Inventory

2, Why is society interested in your intelligence and schooling?
I think they need to know how level of intelligence we have, and they call for the person who has the high score of intelligence. Therefore it is easier for the people who have the high intelligence to enter the company which they want to work than the people who have the low intelligence.
I think the society make a point of the one's own ability when entering the company, and they think it is very important thing. The high intelligence means that the person can think something critically and can adapt a new environment, such as company.

3, Do you think intelligence is fixed at birth, or is it constantly changing?
I don't think intelligence is constantly changing. Yet I think intelligence is gradually changed by one's own environment. I don't think intelligence is decided by only at birth. As the people growns in various kinds of environments, the people can possibly shade the intelligence.
Especially the people's intelligence can change remarkably in their childhood, because when they were children, they experienced many things and assimilated unfamiliar events. Therefore what the people's experiences in their childhood is related with intelligence in what they are.
I think when the childhood is the most important time to raise our own intelligence.

4, How has your education affected your intelligence?
When I was a junior high school and high school student, I was thinking math or science useful for me to do something in my future??? I hated math so much, I don't know the reason and also I didn't like Japanese so much.
However now I think, especially Japanese, the subject is very important for me because it help me to think about something more seriously and deeply. I think it give me how I think the matter complicated and also high intelligence.

I agree with your idea "what the people's experiences in their childhood is related with intelligence in what they are." As the saying "The child is father of the man.(Mitsugo no Tamashii Hyakumade)" goes, what we experienced or learned in our childhood are deeply related to what we are now. If you would become a father/mother, you should let your child read a lot of books.

I agree with your idea"It is easier for the people who have the high intelligence to enter the company.." The society emphasizes the People's intelligece and schooling so these are very important for us...

Seppyoru, you made a lot of good points, although I'm not sure I understand #1. Could you revise it and make it more clear.

Your point about childhood being important for intelligence is very strong. People always debate about Nature vs. Nurture... are we who we are because of our genes, or because of our environment? Your point makes a strong case for the latter.
